Blackbrook grew around the canal and the pits. The Sankey Canal was pushed through here in 1770 to reach Stanley Colliery. Blackbrook Colliery itself worked from the 1790s to the 1860s. The housing that followed has been added to ever since, which is exactly why so many fuse boxes here are full.
We cover the whole of Blackbrook, from the canal across to the schools at St Mary's and Ashurst. Rewires, fuse boxes, downlights and fault finding, all with the same tidy finish.
