The town centre is a mix we know well. Victorian and Edwardian terraces on the streets running off Church Square, flats above the shops and newer apartments around Barrow Street. Older flats and shop conversions throw up the same jobs over and over: tripping breakers, dead sockets and a fuse box that was old twenty years ago.
