Liverpool homes and their wiring

The Georgian Quarter was planned in 1800. Canning Street, Huskisson Street and Falkner Square are part of it. Rodney Street was laid out in 1783 and 1784. It has over 60 listed buildings. Old houses like these need cable routes planned with care.
Old Swan is mostly tightly packed terraced houses around Prescot Road and Derby Lane. In Walton, Hartley's Village has 49 houses built for jam factory workers. It became a conservation area in 2011.
The council built big estates in the 1920s and 1930s, then more after the war. Norris Green was planned from 1925. Some of its concrete houses were later knocked down and rebuilt. Newer homes stand on the old Dunlop site off Cavendish Drive in Walton.
So one week can take in a Georgian house, a Victorian terrace and a 1930s council home. Each one needs its own plan.
